Description

The ASEAN Youth Volunteer Programme (AYVP) is the permanent secretariat based in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (The National University of Malaysia – UKM) under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia with the support of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)The ASEAN Youth Volunteer Programme, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia is calling for Facilitators and Volunteers. The theme this year is the Development of ASEAN Youth DRR Leaders through Volunteerism and Community Engagement.

Eligibility

Nationals of ASEAN countries, aged 18-30 years old, fluent in the English language, with experiences in volunteerism and leadership, passionate about DRR and serving communities in need, with a DRR project idea that will benefit the community in their home countries!

Scholarship and Benefits

The following will be funded: round-trip fare, materials and transportation on site, accommodation and food during the programme. You will only need to ensure that your passport has a validity of 6 months and above, visa (please refer to the Indonesia Immigration website for visa requirement), proceed to the airport of departure in your home country and pay for the necessary airport tax. Please also prepare pocket money for the duration of your stay.
