Youth exchange in January 2017 organized by Tdh-Germany

Program information
Terre des hommes Germany is organizing a
youth exchange in January 2017 between young people in Germany and
youth from projects in the region. This youth exchange will focus on the
topic of 3 UN Sustainable development goals (SDG):
• 2 / Hunger
• 10 / inequality
• 16 / Peaceful and inclusive societies
This can be your chance to learn more
about the issues, share your ideas with other youths from different
regions and create a joint action. Through the project, the young people
will be able to have better understanding of the SDGs, to develop a
multi-perspective view, to integrate similarities and difference in the
debate and to develop a join action.
One youth from Southeast Asia will be invited to the youth exchange and visit 10 schools in Germany on 10-28 January 2017.
Criteria
- Age between 16-20 years old
- Interested in the SDGs, if possible with expertise in SDG objectives 2/10 and 16
- The young person knows about tdh and is involved in a tdh-supported project.
- Able to travel to Germany during this time (more than 2 weeks, cold weather)
How to apply
- Send your profile information and photo (name, birthday, youth group, named of tdh-supported organization, and other information about yourself)
- Answer the question: Why do you want to join the youth exchange? This can be done in your own language.
