Description

Singapore University of Technology and Design is offering fully funded PhD scholarship for outstanding full time PhD applicants. Scholarships are available for students from any country commencing study in academic year 2018. Scholarships are available for students enrolling in any PhD program at Singapore University of Technology and Design.

There are two PhD intakes a year, in September and January.

SUTD is currently accepting applications for the September 2017 and January 2018 intakes. The application deadlines are:

• 31 March 2017 (for September 2017 intake)
• 15 September 2017 (for January 2018 intake)

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must meet all the eligibility criteria below:

• Applicants are welcome from any country.
• Applicants must meet all the entry requirements for PhD program.
• Applicants must meet English language entry requirement (TOEFL / IELTS).
• Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) score report is not required, but highly recommended.

The scholarship will cover

• Full tuition fees
• Monthly stipend for living expenses
• Conference funding support
• Opportunities for sponsored overseas research
•  Attachments and industry internships
•  Scholarships are available for the duration of your study.

1)      Original Undergraduate and/or Master’s degree transcript certificate soft copies

2)      Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS)        score report

3)      Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) score report

4)      Names, titles & e-mail addresses of your 3 Recommenders

5)      Relevant supporting documents

6)      Soft copy of your Identity Card or relevant pages in your Passport

7)      Your Statement of Objectives (3,000 words) soft copy
