UK, EU and international applicants can apply for these scholarships.Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements.
Supports provided
These PhD Scholarships include full tuition fees, full stipend at the UK Research Council rate (£14,296 in 2016/17) and, in conjunction with the host School, a contribution to research costs at the UK Research Council level appropriate to the discipline.
The term of funding is 3, 3.5 or 4 years, according to the particular discipline and training programme, and is subject to satisfactory progress.
