Description
The United World College (UWC) comprises a group of fifteen international schools and colleges across five continents; National Committees in more than 140 countries; and a network of more than 50,000 alumni from more than181 countries. The UWC movement aims to make education a force to unite people, nations and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. Students are selected from around the global at a pre-university level, based on merit and regardless of their financial status and ethnic, religious or educational background. UWC schools, colleges and programmes deliver a challenging and transformative educational experience to deliver a diverse cross section of students, inspiring them to create a more peaceful and sustainable future.
The IB Diploma Programme is one of the most well regarded and widely known secondary school qualifications in the world, and is recognized by the world’s leading universities. It is designed as an academically challenging and balanced programme of education with final examinations that prepare students, normally aged 16 to 18, for success at university and in life beyond.
Eligibility
